BIM Coordinator

Join our client's, a leading architectural firm, dynamic team, as a passionate and talented BIM Coordinator! We are seeking an individual who is proficient in Autodesk Revit and is eager to support our client's architectural project teams in utilising BIM tools and workflows. As a BIM Coordinator, you will have the opportunity to collaborate closely with the project directors and head of BIM, providing invaluable feedback on training, workflows, and content requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the production of a BIM Execution Plan (BEP)
- Establish project teams' Responsibility Matrix (MPDT)
- Populate a Task Information Delivery Plan (TIDP)
- Chair BIM project and team meetings
- Support and train project teams internally
- Maintain and deliver project BIM models
- Ensure compliance with project standards
- Collaborate on medium to large-scale complex projects
- Utilise clash avoidance strategies, issue management, and MEP & Structural coordination management techniques
Production:
- Setup project models (in-house)
- Manage the setup of other project models (supply chain)
- Produce 3D model elements
- Prepare COBie information
- Manage COBie information and deliverables process (in-house)
- Produce COBie deliverables
- Generate model outputs
Required Skills:
- Excellent written and oral communication
- Working knowledge of ISO19650
- Ability to understand and meet clients' information needs
- Experience with BIM administration in a CDE environment
- Proficiency in Revit and related plugins
- Experience with visual scripting interfaces like Dynamo
- Familiarity with clash detection using Navisworks and producing reports
- Knowledge of BIM360-based projects (Docs and Design)
- Understanding of Solibri for data checks and creating rulesets
- Experience with point clouds in software such as ReCap Pro
- Familiarity with Bentley MicroStation and AECOsim
- Knowledge of issue tracking software like Revizto, BIMCollab, and/or BIM Track
- Comfortable with additional software such as Rhino, Enscape, and NBS Chorus
- Basic coding skills
