�? About the Role �?
As a Warehouse Operative, you will play a crucial role in managing the supply chain process, ensuring smooth operations, and maintaining stock control. Your responsibilities will include:
? Packaging and repackaging products according to client requirements.
? Assisting with sample preparation when needed.
? Checking inbound and outbound deliveries for accuracy and proper documentation.
? Maintaining stock control through regular stock takes and reporting any discrepancies.
? Keeping the warehouse clean, organised, and compliant with safety regulations.
?? Key Responsibilities ??
?? Order Preparation:
- Packaging and repackaging products for final delivery.
- Ensuring future orders are prepared and ready for collection.
?? Deliveries Inbound & Outbound:
- Accurate picking and checking orders, reporting any discrepancies.
- Coordinating with the Operations Manager to process inbound and outbound deliveries efficiently.
- Monitoring warehouse capacity for expected deliveries, reporting any concerns.
?? Stock Control & Warehouse Maintenance:
- Keeping the whiteboard up to date with current stock quantities and locations.
- Conducting monthly stock takes and reporting any issues.
- Ensuring proper labelling of stock and addressing damaged items.
- Maintaining a clean and organised warehouse space.
- Following safety regulations and promptly reporting any concerns.
?? Desired Skills and Experience ??
To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:
? Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics setting.
? Familiarity with stock control procedures and quality assurance.
? Ability to operate a forklift or other warehouse machinery (if trained).
? Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
? Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
