Health and Safety Manager for Award Winning Firm

A globally recognised professional services firm are seeking a hands on, professional and forward thinking Health and Safety Manager to lead the day to day operations of their 4 UK offices. The successful candidate will work closely with each offices Office Manager and Facilities team to ensure that each office has an environment which is safe, inclusive and sustainable. Working closely with suppliers and internal stakeholders the successful candidate will have a proven track record within professional services of working as a Health and Safety Manager and work strategically but also in a day to day operational role. This role can be based out of their Birmingham, Manchester or Exeter offices with hybrid working available.

Day to day the successful candidate will be the sole point of contact for all health and safety issues across all offices, leading on the development of training and processes, leading on all audits; ensuring they are actioned in a timely and detailed manner, producing of reports, creating H&S handbooks alongside day to day budget management.

The successful candidate must have solid Health and Safety Management experience, ideally within a professional services industry alongside being able to work on the short term delivery whilst managing and planning long term growth and improvement. You will be an excellent communicator, be able to influence and have strong planning skills. You must hold the below qualifications:

  • NEBOSH National General Certificate in Occupational Health & Safety
  • NEBOSH Certificate in Fire Safety
  • ACOP L8 Legionella Responsible Person
  • DSE Advanced Assessor
  • Chartered Member of IOSH
  • Knowledge of ISO45001
  • Ideally Professional Services Experience
