My client, a group of businesses in Alfreton are currently recruiting for a IT Support Engineer. This role is primarily focused on 1st line support. The role offers great scope and progression for someone that wants to grow & progress into 2nd/3rd line over time.
As IT Support Engineer, you'll be responsible for:
- Supporting end users
- Investigating and resolving end user issues
- Setting up new hardware and new users/leavers
- Maintaining centralised documentation
- Updating asset management system
- Collecting IT usage stats
- Making recommendations for improving the company's IT systems
- Carrying out routine configuration and installation of IT solutions
