Warehouse Operative
We are seeking a dedicated Warehouse Operative to join our team. The role involves a variety of tasks within the warehouse environment, including heavy lifting, picking, packing, quality control, and materials handling. This position is ideal for someone who is physically fit and has experience in a similar setting.
Day to Day of the role:
- Perform tasks such as picking, packing, stocking, and conducting quality control checks.
- Operate forklifts and other mechanical equipment as required.
- Load and unload materials from trucks and containers.
- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse space.
- Assist with shipping and receiving processes.
- Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines at all times to ensure a safe working environment.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Prior experience in a warehouse setting is preferred.
- Physical fitness and the ability to perform heavy lifting.
- Experience operating forklifts and other warehouse machinery.
- A strong understanding of warehouse operations and safety standards.
- Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work as part of a team and follow instructions.
