Hours: 32.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday (Part-time hours considered for the right candidate)

Role Overview: TimePlan Education is seeking a dedicated and compassionate 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team in Wantage, Oxfordshire. This role involves providing tailored support to a nursery student with spina bifida, ensuring they receive the highest quality of care and education.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide 1:1 support for a nursery student with spina bifida.
- Assist in implementing individual education plans (IEPs) under the guidance of the SENCO.
- Support the student in accessing the primary curriculum.
- Develop and maintain a positive and trusting relationship with the student.
- Communicate effectively with the SENCO, teachers, and parents to ensure the student's needs are met.
- Adapt teaching materials and strategies to suit the student's learning style and abilities.
- Maintain a safe and inclusive learning environment.
Ideal Candidate:
- Experience working with Special Educational Needs (SEN) (desirable).
- Flexible and adaptable to meet the needs of the student.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with students, staff, and parents.
- Understanding of the primary curriculum.
- Collaborative and able to work effectively alongside the SENCO and other staff members.
- Possess a DBS on the update service or be willing to apply for one.
