Are you passionate about supporting young learners with Special Educational Needs (SEN)? We're looking for a caring and dedicated SEN Learner Assistant to join a welcoming primary SEND school in Lambeth. If you're ready to make a real difference in the lives of children, this role could be the perfect fit.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Provide individual support to students with SEN, helping them reach their academic and personal potential.
  • Work alongside teachers to follow Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and adapt learning strategies to suit each child's needs.
  • Build an inclusive, positive classroom environment that supports students' social and emotional growth.
  • Assist with classroom activities, ensuring students feel engaged and valued.
  • Maintain open communication with parents and carers, providing regular progress updates.

What We're Looking For:

  • Previous experience working with SEN students is beneficial, though a positive, empathetic attitude and strong commitment to student success are essential.
  • Flexibility and creativity in adjusting to different learning styles.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • While a driver's license and vehicle access can be helpful due to the location in Lambeth, they are not required.

  • A rewarding opportunity to help students with SEN flourish both academically and personally.
