CCTV Officer

We are currently seeking dedicated CCTV Officers to join our ARC team. This role involves monitoring CCTV cameras, handling out-of-hours calls for the council, and managing calls for St Ledger Homes. Ideal candidates will have experience in customer service or call centres and be comfortable dealing with challenging situations. This position offers flexible shifts, comprehensive training, and the potential for regular employment.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Monitor CCTV cameras and respond to incidents as required.
- Handle out-of-hours calls for the council and take calls for St Ledger Homes.
- Act as key holders for boroughs, ensuring security and response readiness.
- Participate in internal and external training sessions to develop skills in various security systems and software.
- Work shifts that may include early mornings, afternoons, nights, and weekends, with a focus on maintaining flexibility to cover sickness or other absences.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Experience in customer service or call centres, ideally with exposure to handling challenging calls.
- Ability to learn and adapt to different software and security systems.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to handle sensitive information.
- Dedication to picking up shifts across various times, including nights and weekends.
- No prior experience in CCTV monitoring necessary as comprehensive training will be provided.
