We are looking for a trainee wireman who has an interest and has basic knowledge of electrical engineering to support growth a great opportunity for someone to who wants to gain a comprehensive understanding of wiring a range of machinery used in Manufacturing industry. The successful candidate will be part of the electrical assembly team within a fast past manufacturing environment. We do not sponsor and not seeking a relocator.
Responsibilities
- Wiring various machine to given timescales
- Support with mechanical assembly as required
- Give feedback and suggest improvements
- In addition to the duties listed above, the position holder must carry out tasks assigned by his supervisor that essentially relate to the duties of the role.
Essential Requirements
- Able to read electrical circuit wiring diagrams
- Desire to deliver quality workmanship
- Some experience of electrical and mechanical assembly
- Read electrical wiring diagram
- Practical minded
- Able to use various hand tools
- Ideally 6 months wiring experience
- Work using own initiative
- Eye for detail
- Able to work under pressure
- Live Locally (Not seeking relocators)
Desirable Requirements
- Electrical qualification such as B-Tech or NVQ
- Read mechanical engineering drawings
- Mechanical assembly
- Familiar with manufacturing
