Event Manager - Event Operations & Networking Manager
London - Hybrid working, 3 days in office

I'm hiring an Event Operations & Networking Manager for an established UK & USA based firm. This company is fast growing and has a positive, supportive and ambitious culture.
This Event Operations role is based in great offices in central London and they work 3 days each week in office, 2 days from home. They enjoy lots of team socials, from monthly evenings out to nice lunches and drinks after work.
The events are a mix of global Conferences and smaller niche events, they are all B2B sponsored events and held online and in-person.
What will you be doing?
- This role will focus on project management, event operations, event programming and overall event management for the online and in-person events.
- Project manage the delivery of the 121 meetings / networking programme
- Deliver small satellite events that attract up to 150 people - (research, programming, and operations
- Recruit speakers across for your events
- Add to the event and 121 networking outreach strategy in collaboration with the marketing team
- Ensure strong communication and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders
- Develop strategic relationships with suppliers
Your experience
For this position, we're looking for:
- An experienced event operations professional (ideally 18+ months experience) who has delivered conferences/events from an operational perspective
- Experience (and enjoys) managing the networking/meetings element at events - ensuring sponsors/attendee meetings are successful
- You must be an excellent communicator
- Confident working to tight deadlines
- Excellent project management, organisation and muti-tasking skills
