Role Information and Benefits
Working Hours: 08:30-17:00, Monday to Friday
Breaks: 1-hour lunch break
Holiday Allowance: 33 days per annum
Pension: Auto-enroll 3% employer contribution, 5% employee contribution

Position Responsibilities: As a Pricing Specialist, you will be responsible for the following:
- Client Onboarding:

Assist in the smooth transition of new clients to our services.

Work closely with the Sales team to maintain positive client relationships.
- System Proficiency:
-
Be fully conversant with all in-house systems.
-
Ensure accurate and complete entry of consignment and client information into the system.
- Performance Metrics:
- Meet monthly KPIs and billing requirements promptly.
- Quotations and Intelligent Buying:
-
Provide competitive quotations to customers and overseas offices.

Demonstrate intelligent buying practices.
- Issue Resolution:
-
Resolve day-to-day issues with clients and vendors, including issuing NCRs.

Provide feedback on operational issues to the Manager for further business development.
- Compliance and Dangerous Goods:
-
Understand the Compliance Programme.

Ensure compliance with Dangerous Goods procedures for successful exports.
- Client Support:
-
Advise clients on importing/exporting cargoes.

Follow client Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Customs and Supplier Relations:

Resolve departmental issues with Customs and third parties.

Compare costs between suppliers and negotiate for the best deals.
- Client Tenders:
- Participate in the completion of client tenders.

- Familiarity with Lloyds Loading List, OAG Flight Guide, and Croner's Export Guide.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
