Looking for a Design & Development Engineer who will get involves in assisting in the technical team, providing technical support, design on new and exciting products and ensuring the growth of the business.
Role:
- Design new and exciting products
- Test the products before they go out to clients/customers
- Verify that the products comply with the UK standards
- Comply with Health, Safety and investigate/report any incidents/near misses
- Communicate with customer over the phone and offer technical support, documentation and/or manuals
- Use and maintain of CAD software (2D AutoCAD and 3D Autodesk inventor)
- Provide drawing & technical administration support to business operations.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Minimum: previous experience in similar role (Mechanical Engineering)
- Must: knowledge & experience of CAD software (2D AutoCAD and 3D Autodesk inventor)
- Proficient with all Microsoft office tools
- Able to read Engineering Drawings
- Formal Engineering Qualification or suitable experience
- Excellent communication skills
- Able to work on own initiative or as part of a team
