Are you a Software Engineer who has good experience with a .net language such as C#, VB.net?
On offer is a rare opportunity to work for a world leader in remanufacturing solutions for light - heavy duty vehicles where you will play a part in the companies success.
Established over 80 years ago, our client serves the global automotive industry from its facilities in the UK, USA, Europe and China, where they have now built up an impressive reputation. They are now looking for someone who wants to utilise their years of experience in a business that offers you the framework for progression to directorship.
As Software Engineer, you can expect to be involved in the design and development of software in the areas of automotive diagnostics and electric vehicles to support the company throughout. Some other responsibilities include, creating new software products from scratch, creating test plans then implementing and documenting results.
The ideal candidate will have a good working knowledge of .net language (C#, VB.net) working with version control systems and have performed unit tests and is able to debug their own code. If you have experience with Matlab/Python for data processing and are familiar with automotive protocols such as CAN & Flexray, that would be a good advantage.
