Description

I am recruiting for a Regulatory Affairs Manager with a highly regulated consumer business in the Northern Home Counties (hybrid working). You will:

  • Analyse data and reports to identify trends, potential issues, and areas of improvement and present findings clearly and concisely to support decision-making.
  • Collaborate with the wider regulatory function and other business units to assess performance against the businesses Assurance Framework.
  • Work closely with key stakeholders, including the wider Assurance and Participant Protection function and other business functions to ensure accurate representation of regulatory, assurance and compliance efforts.
  • Understand and translate regulatory concepts into advice to the business, and support understanding of the impact of their Strategies, Policies, Processes and Procedures on delivering our Licence obligations.
  • Provide guidance on how to reflect key concepts in their ways of working, documents and decisions.
  • Contribute to comprehensive written assurance submissions for the Board, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and alignment with regulatory standards.
  • Guide business units on the information required for assurance submissions and support cross-functional teams in understanding and meeting regulatory requirements.

Profile

You will have:

  • Experience in a policy, regulatory or regulatory compliance role gained from having worked in a regulator, the civil service, regulated business or consultancy
  • Bright, analytical, able to review information and identify trends
  • Ability to understand and apply complex concepts and translate these into meaningful advice
  • Excellent relationship building, able to partner with the business to build trust and deliver against objectives
  • Good written and spoken communication skills and ability to develop and well structured, persuasive and factually accurate material for a variety of purposes.
  • Effective time management and ability to plan and consistently deliver quality to agreed timescales

Job Offer

  • Based in the norther Home Counties and 2 days a week in the office.
  • £60,000 DOE plus car allowance, bonus and benefits.
