Salary: £50,000 + car allowance + uncapped commission

Elevation are excited to be recruiting a Business Development Manager for a well established manufacturing company.

Specialising in industrial machinery aftermarket parts they are a leader in their field and this is a real opportunity to join a thriving business.

This role is covering the South of England, ideally based in the South-East, the ideal candidate is a driven, hungry individual with a fantastic track record in B2B sales.

Client Acquisition and Retention:

  • Identify and target new business opportunities within the industrial machinery and consumables sector
  • Build and maintain solid relationships with existing customers. Developing a thorough understanding of their needs
  • Using initiative seek out new clients and grow fresh relationships from the ground up

Sales Strategy Development

  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve and exceed revenue targets
  • Analyse market trends and competitor activities to identify potential areas for growth, keeping relevant staff informed at all times
  • Consistent analysis of existing customers buying habits and adaptation to process when needed
  • Strategize and complete marketing plans/campaigns based on reports generated

Product Knowledge and Expertise:

  • Become an expert on technical advancements and product innovations in the industrial machinery field.
  • Use your strong ability and knowledge of product line to establish evolving target audience and win new business

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in business development within the industrial machinery sector is desirable
  • Experience selling into manufacturing businesses
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Self-motivated with a results-driven approach
  • UK Driving License is required due to the role being field based
