We are seeking a dedicated Music Teacher to join a vibrant educational setting in Northampton starting September 2024. This temporary role offers the unique opportunity to shape the future of aspiring musicians and contribute to a culture that values progress and independence.

Day to Day of the Role:

  • Deliver high-quality music lessons to students across various age groups.
  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to a range of abilities and learning styles.
  • Foster a love for music and encourage students to explore their musical talents.
  • Assess and record student progress, providing feedback to help them improve.
  • Participate in school events and performances, showcasing student work.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the music curriculum and cross-curricular learning opportunities.
  • Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports student well-being.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is preferred but not essential.
  • A strong passion for music and a commitment to teaching.
  • Proven ability to create a stimulating and supportive learning environment.
  • A track record of promoting student engagement and progress in music.
  • Willingness to participate in ongoing professional development to enhance teaching practice.
