As a Head of Architecture - People First you will lead, mentor and guide the Architecture teams to collaborate and advise in order to design, develop and document innovative, effective, secure and high-quality, robust and highly-scalable solutions across MHR People First product

Responsibilities:

  • Cultivate relationships with business stakeholders to initiate and deliver technology evaluations, prototypes, recommendations and solutions in-line with business needs to increase efficiency and drive revenue
  • Provide leadership and oversight to provide Architecture Designs and ensure technical standards across the People First MHR product.
  • Develop, maintain and clearly communicate plans, goals, strategies and architectural roadmaps
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of strategic business plans.
  • Design and oversee implementation of end-to-end integrated systems.
  • Gain organizational commitment for enterprise level architecture and infrastructure initiatives.
  • Oversee, mentor and provide direction to the architecture team
  • Support business and IT strategic planning.
  • Support product development teams.
  • Work with the CTO & Software Director to plan annual infrastructure and software strategy.
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of technology through external partnerships and relationships.
  • Develop, communicate and deploy product Architecture Governance processes
  • Review new and existing program/project architecture for compliance with IT standards, policies, and architectural plans.
  • Document exceptions to architectural standards.
  • Ensure that project documentation captures significant architectural decisions.
  • Ensure that architectural governance is a fair, consistent and transparent process
  • Identify architectural risks and propose alternatives and solutions.

About you:

  • Experience leading in architecture team whilst encouraging growth, diversity, inspiring and empowering.
  • Proficient understanding of Azure, DevOps, Containerization, Test Automation & Infrastructure as Code
  • Proven track record of developing people, including strong performance management principles.
  • Excellent team player who encourages feedback and can delegate and seek help when appropriate.
