Our client, based in Aberdeens West End, is currently seeking 2 Technical Buyers to assist in the implementation and development of a new ERP system on a contract basis until December 2024/March 2025
Duties will include:
- Assisting in the implementation of a new ERP system.
- Liaise internally with superintendents to identify a list of the critical components
- Identify the manufacturers / suppliers of the components and liaise with them to produce a list of all subcomponents to help build a catalogue of spares for the new ERP system.
- Ensure relevant supporting documentation is obtained and stored locally.
- Ensure all relevant fields required for the ERP system are completed by manufacturer / supplier.
- Extract current ERP data and prepare load files for the new system.
- Prepare stock check files for "general stores" spares on the vessels.
- Assist in stock checks for internal warehouse locations as well as inventory held in supplier locations.
- Purchasing data cleanse of current ERP system including Open and aged PO's / requisitions etc.
