An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Property Solicitor with a strong background in landlord and tenant law at a professional services company. This role is ideal for a candidate with experience in private practice who is looking to take on new challenges in a dynamic environment. Knowledge of agricultural law, while not essential, is highly desirable.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Provide expert legal advice on a wide range of property law matters, with a focus on landlord and tenant law.
- Draft, review, and negotiate property agreements and leases.
- Handle property transactions from inception to completion, ensuring compliance with legal requirements.
- Advise clients on the legal aspects of property management and dispute resolution.
- Work collaboratively with other departments to support the broader business objectives.
- Stay abreast of changes in property law and advise the team on potential impacts.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- A qualified solicitor with 4-8 years post-qualification experience (PQE) in property law.
- Strong knowledge and experience in landlord and tenant law.
- Knowledge of agricultural law is desirable.
- Proven experience in private practice.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a hybrid working environment.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
