Sales Manager

Join one of the UK's largest independent distributors of timber, panels, and decorative surfaces. We are looking for a highly motivated and enthusiastic Panel Sales Manager with a sound knowledge of wood-based sheet materials and sales experience. This role is an excellent opportunity to develop business with a forward-thinking, established panel importer and distributor.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Oversee the day-to-day management of the Panel sales team.
- Ensure the team achieves sales, volume, and margin targets.
- Liaise with their supply chain team and suppliers to manage stock effectively.
- Maintain a regular presence in the workplace to contribute to teamwork and success.
- Occasionally visit customers and spend time out with representatives to strengthen business relationships.
- Work 5 days a week at their Yate offices from 08.00 am until 17.30 pm with a one-hour unpaid lunch break.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Prior experience working as a Sales Manager.
- Sound knowledge of wood-based sheet materials.
- Proven sales experience and ability to develop business.
- Strong leadership skills and ability to manage a sales team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Flexibility to work from home and office as required by business needs.
