HR Advisor

Posted by Andrew James Specialist Recruitment Limited.

A small and highly specialised financial services business is looking for an HR Advisor to join their city of London based HR team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a HR Advisor to join a small department which is likely to grow over the next few years. The role will play a key part in establishing process, procedure, and tools.

The organisation is complex and developing, so you will need to be creative and positive in your outlook, initially being comfortable with ambiguity.

Duties will be varied and will encompass the whole employment lifecycle. Expect to be involved in recruitment (and associated co-ordination of interviews, paperwork, and subsequent onboarding), supporting managers and staff with queries offering advise and guidance, benefits co-ordination, projects to implement process, systems and procedure and a varied schedule of duties around data integrity, reporting and analytics. With the later (reporting, analytics and systems), the UK Head of HR would like to see how someone is able to taken ownership and drive process forward so please note that there will be a big chunk of the role that has work in this area.

The role will suit a HR Advisor who is looking for an employer that can offer security and long-term development. You should have worked in environments that have been developing (to demonstrate the comfort with ambiguity) and that employ supportive but stimulating and challenging professional employees.

You might already be CIPD qualified, and it is preferred if you are educated to degree level or equivalent. The firm can support CIPD study should it be required. Your experience should be generalist, but you should have experience of working with HR systems and be comfortable taking the lead on HR reporting, HRIS and analytics. This experience should be clearly evidenced in your roles to be successfully short listed.

The business has a flexible working culture and supports hybrid working. Expect to be in the office 2 days per week. This is a full-time position that does need a full-time appointment.
