We are partnering with an leading banking investment firm based in Manchester City Centre. Our client are going through a period of growth and are seeking an Accounts Assistant to join the team.
6 months interim - view for a permanent opportunity.
Hybrid working.
Accounts Assistant responsibilities include:
- Completing daily and monthly reconciliation of all bank receipts and payments
- Reconciliation and balancing of monthly intersystem payments across accounting systems
- Assistance to branches to help them identify till mistakes
- Reconciliation of branch takings to cash/cheque/card payments received
- Preparing and posting journals into accounting systems
- Other similar duties within the department as required
Profile:
- Experience working within a Finance role
- Good working knowledge of MS Excel
- High attention to detail - Required
