We are excited to support a growing IT Managed Service Provider looking for a proactive 2nd Line Support Analyst to work closely with their school clients. This position is based in Princes Risborough with the possibility of hybrid working for the right candidate.

As a 2nd Line Support Analyst, you will provide remote technical support, working within the escalation process, and ensuring the timely resolution of tickets. You will support 1st line team members and engage with various departments to ensure smooth issue resolution.

Responsibilities & Skills Required:

  • Deliver exceptional 2nd line support to schools, ensuring top-notch customer service.
  • Guide and mentor 1st line team members, offering expertise in technical troubleshooting.
  • Swiftly address ICT emergencies and resolve incidents efficiently.
  • Manage server failures, perform system rebuilds, and oversee both on-premise and cloud-based systems (Office 365, Google Workspace).
  • Possess strong written and verbal communication skills for interacting with both technical and non-technical users.
  • Administer Windows domain networks, including DHCP, DNS, and ADFS.
  • Troubleshoot Hyper-V configurations and provide network support for devices such as laptops and PCs.
  • Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability, working effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Exhibit excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive, customer-focused approach.
