I am recruiting an experienced Interim Management Accountant to join the Finance team of a renowned FCMG company based in Bedford, Milton Keynes. In this role, you will play a crucial role in supporting the production of monthly management accounts and reporting.
What You'll Do:
- Assist with the production of accurate and timely month-end accounts, month close processes and reporting in line with group policies.
- Support with monthly balance sheet reconciliations, making enquiries into differences and resolving issues that arise to ensure accuracy in general ledger accounting.
- Produce month-end and year-end journals, accruals, and prepayments.
- Assist in the preparation of departmental P&L accounts and variance analysis of budgets and forecasts.
- Support compliance of all functions and processes with Global Control Standards (GCS), policies & procedures
- Support team in preparation of Corporate and Statutory Audits.
- Contribute to the development of systems, processes, and controls, making recommendations for improvements to enhance financial and operational efficiencies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders as required.
What You'll Need:
- Part-qualified Accountant (ACA/CIMA/ACCA) or QBE with 2+ years of management accounting experience.
- Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel; experience with TM1 and Oracle 11 is advantageous.
- Highly focused, detail-oriented, proactive, and able to think creatively.
- Resilient, hands on, motivated, and positive "can-do" attitude.
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic and challenging environment.
- Excellent communication skills across all levels.
