As part of our strategy to maintain an innovative and secure IT environment, we are seeking a skilled IT Support Engineer to join our team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide 2nd/3rd Line technical support to employees, optimising the use of modern workspace technologies (Microsoft 365, Azure, ERP, Veeam Data Platform).
- Act as the point of escalation for 1st/2nd Line Engineers and deliver prioritised solutions with internal and external partners.
- Lead and manage IT projects, particularly focusing on Microsoft 365 implementations and improvements.
- Ensure IT policies, procedures, and setups are documented and understood across the team, delivering training as needed.
- Monitor key security factors, ensuring compliance with IT safety and security procedures.
- Proactively maintain the IT infrastructure to ensure platforms are secure and operational for users.
- Identify opportunities to enhance IT efficiency, security, and resilience.
- Manage supplier, vendor, and stakeholder relationships, ensuring optimal service delivery.
Essential Skills and Experience:
- Proven experience in 2nd/3rd Line IT support for hybrid users in a helpdesk environment.
- Extensive knowledge of Microsoft 365 Enterprise and associated services (BI, Intune, Azure).
- Strong understanding of Windows Server & Client OS, VMware ESXi, Veeam Data Platform, and ERP systems.
- Experience leading and supporting IT projects, particularly within a Microsoft-based environment.
- Knowledge of Windows Defender for Endpoint.
- Supplier, vendor, and stakeholder management experience.
