We are currently seeking a dedicated Finance Assistant for a temporary position on behalf of our esteemed client based in Deal. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with a strong background in finance to contribute to a dynamic team.

**Finance Assistant

Day-to-Day of the Role:

  • Assisting with the preparation of financial documents such as invoices, bills, and accounts payable and receivable
  • Completing purchase orders and managing payroll
  • Completing bank reconciliations
  • Entering financial information into appropriate software programs
  • Managing company ledgers
  • Processing business expenses and managing budgets and petty cash
  • Coordinating internal and external audits
  • Verifying balances in account books and rectifying discrepancies
  • Verifying bank deposits and managing day-to-day transactions
  • Reporting on debtors and creditors
  • Handling accruals and prepayments
  • Managing monthly budgeting tasks

**Finance Assistant

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in a similar Finance Assistant role
  • Strong understanding of finance regulations and accounting processes
  • High level of organisational skills and ability to manage a number of projects at the same time
  • Ability to work to deadlines
  • Knowledge of financial software and advanced MS Excel skills
  • Data entry skills with an ability to identify numerical errors
  • Good attention to detail and analytical skills
