I am working with an extremely successful firm of Chartered Accountants & Tax Advisors who have enjoyed continuous growth in recent years and as a result, are now looking for a Bookkeeper to join their team on a full or part time basis.
This would be a great move for someone who has worked as a Bookkeeper in Practice and who is looking to develop their career in Chartered Accountancy firm. This is a varied role in which you will work closely with the wider accounts and tax team, key skills and responsibilities include:
- Bookkeeping using Xero, QuickBooks and Sage software
- Preparation of management accounts for a range of clients
- Preparation and subsequent submission of VAT returns monthly after review
- Preparation of Trial Balance for year-end accounts
- Maintaining regular client contact and being a first point of contact for client queries
To be considered, you may have previous bookkeeping experience – ideally gained within an Accountancy Practice but what is most important is that you can demonstrate a good eye for detail and a great work ethic along with excellent communication skills.
