A prominent national charity dedicated is seeking a talented Data Scientist to join the growing Data and Analytics team. This role is part of their ambitious strategy to become a leading data-driven organisation through the power of analytics.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and deploy data science models, with an initial focus on propensity modelling for cross-sell opportunities
- Work with stakeholders across the organisation to identify impactful data science opportunities
- Ensure deployed models can be measured for impact and iteratively improved
Required Skills and Experience:
- Strong understanding of core data science and machine learning techniques
- Experience developing real-world machine learning models
- Proficiency in Python, SQL, ML libraries, and data visualization
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g. Git) for collaborative projects
- Excellent communication skills, able to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences
- Ability to build relationships with diverse stakeholders across the organisation
