Job Context: The key premise of H&B&Me is to deliver behaviour change for everyone, helping people to feel better and improve quality of life today, whilst adding quality years to their later life. H&B&Me enables to work towards the mission of H&B to add quality years to life to 100million people globally.

Behaviour change is hard and unlike, many longevity apps, we want to make this accessible for EVERYONE so this role is vital is ensuring we have a product that is simple to use but delivers real impact to users – celebrating their successes with a real dopamine hit and supporting them during the tough times.

Job Summary: We are seeking a visionary Head of Product Design to lead and shape the design strategy across our behaviour change mobile app and e-commerce website. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in UX design, an understanding of behaviour design thinking, a passion for creating accessible digital experiences, and the ability to drive user-centric design processes that align with our mission of inclusivity and health improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Leadership & Strategy:
  • Lead and inspire the product design team, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive design strategy that aligns with the company's vision and goals.
  • Advocate for behaviour design thinking and user-centered design principles across the organization.
  • Design & Development:
  • Oversee the design and user experience of the behaviour change mobile app and e-commerce website.
  • Ensure all products are designed with accessibility in mind, meeting or exceeding industry standards (e.g., WCAG) and create bespoke experiences for some audiences.
  • Collaborate with product managers, developers, science and other stakeholders to deliver cohesive and compelling design solutions.
  • Conduct user research and usability testing with our user insights team to inform design decisions and improve product usability and accessibility.
  • User Experience:
  • Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs that effectively communicate design concepts and user flows. Use these to validate designs with real users, and engage key stakeholders before the development phases begin
  • Ensure a seamless and engaging user experience across all touchpoints, including mobile and web platforms.
  • Develop and maintain design systems and guidelines to ensure consistency across products.
  • Work with the Head of Brand and Content to ensure consistency across channels.
  • Create surprise and delight as part of the delivery of behaviours change
  • Innovation & Trends:
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in product design and accessibility.
  • Drive innovation in design processes and tools to enhance productivity and creativity within the team
  • Team Management:
  • Lead, mentor, and grow a diverse team of UX designers – in house and partners.
  • Foster a collaborative team environment that promotes innovation and excellence.
  • Regulatory Navigation
  • Work with our Science teams and external regulatory advice agencies to ensure that the design stays within the regulatory guardrails, we set ourselves.
  • Ensure we are transparent with users on

The Person:
Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in UX Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Psychology, or related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in product design, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
  • Proven track record of designing and delivering successful mobile and web products.
  • Proficiency in design and prototyping tools, including Figma
  • Deep understanding of accessibility standards and inclusive design practices.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing innovative and user-centered design solutions.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Experience of developing and scaling team plus management of agencies and partners.
  • Purpose driven

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in the health tech industry.
  • Familiarity with behaviour change theories and techniques.
  • As well as direct to user apps, experience in B2B and B2B2C would be useful as well as experience of internationalising products.
