We are seeking a Transport Administrator to join our team on a 4-month fixed-term contract. This role is ideal for individuals seeking their first job in Logistics or those with logistics experience looking for employment until the end of the summer.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Coordinate and manage the scheduling of transport activities to ensure timely delivery of goods.
- Communicate effectively with drivers, suppliers, and customers to facilitate smooth operations.
- Maintain accurate records of transport documentation, including delivery schedules, vehicle maintenance, and fuel consumption.
- Monitor and report on transport costs and identify opportunities for cost-saving.
- Ensure compliance with transport policies, regulations, and safety standards.
- Assist in resolving any logistical issues that may arise in a timely and efficient manner.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
