RSR are recruiting on behalf of Black County Women's Aid for a First Contact Administrator to be part of a central contact and administrative team.
This is a full time, permanent role, based in Sandwell and offers a salary of £22,308.
Main Duties:
- Responsible for taking calls and field as appropriate to the relevant service or staff member.
- Responsible for delivering an effective system of first contact, care and support to clients who are victims/survivors of abuse; this includes gathering information regarding the client and their circumstances and assessing requirements for support.
- Effectively communicate with clients over the phone in a manner and pace that is appropriate
- Manage high volume of calls.
- Gathering information regarding the victim/survivor and their circumstances effectively managing referrals and queries from partner agencies.
- Accurate recording of the client/ agency details on the BCWA case management system and prepare case files ready for allocation.
- Assess risk and provide tailored support plans for service users
- Provide support for survivors of abuse using a trauma informed approach.
- Deliver efficient and organised administration.
- Monitor and respond to referrals via email, telephone and web chat in a timely manner to ensure contact is maximized and needs are met.
Essential Requirements:
- Educated to minimum Level 3 or equivalent.
- Experience in managing a high volume of calls.
- Experience of working in a professional environment.
- Experience in providing timely response to all stakeholders.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Efficient and organised.
