Description
- Manage and maintain client accounts, ensuring that payments are made on time.
- Perform credit checks on potential clients and manage credit limits.
- Resolve client discrepancies and short payments.
- Collaborate with the sales team to manage credit exposures, ensuring it remains within set risk limits.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, annual and ad-hoc forecasting reports.
- Work alongside the finance team to achieve company-wide financial objectives.
- Comply with all regulatory requirements.
- Provide excellent customer service and build positive relationships with clients.
Profile
A successful 'Credit Controller' should have:
- A minimum of 5 years working in a similar role
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Strong numerical skills and an attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Knowledge of applicable laws and regulations.
- Experience in customer service.
