Description
- Develop and implement comprehensive communication strategies.
- Coordinate internal and external communications flow (memos, newsletters etc.).
- Collaborate with marketing professionals to produce copy for advertisements and articles.
- Managing media relations, public affairs, and stakeholder engagement across the Liverpool City Region.
- Handle crisis and incident communications.
- Lead communication and marketing campaigns from inception to execution.
- Organise initiatives to maintain high levels of employee engagement.
- Analyse and report on communication campaign outcomes.
Profile
A successful Senior Communications Officer should have:
- A degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations or related field.
- Proven experience in communications, media relations, or a related field, preferably in a governmental or similar public sector environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with design software (Photoshop, InDesign).
- Understanding of project management and web design.
