Nursery Teacher Role:

We are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Part-Time Nursery Teacher to join us from September to the end of January covering a teacher on maternity who will be returning from February. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with young learners and make a significant impact during their crucial early years of education.

Nursery Teacher Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons tailored to the needs of Early Years learners
  • Foster a nurturing and supportive classroom environment that promotes the physical, social, and emotional development of young children.
  • Implement age-appropriate activities and curricula that align with Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) guidelines.
  • Assess and monitor students' progress, providing constructive feedback and support.
  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere that encourages respect and learning.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and parents to support student development and well-being.
  • Participate in school meetings, training sessions, and extracurricular activities as required.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Experience as a Nursery Teacher is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of the early years curriculum and effective teaching practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
