This role is ideal for someone who excels in overseeing the big picture of data management without being involved in hands-on technical work. You will be responsible for ensuring our data platform is not only technically sound but also aligns with global administrative practices and policies. Day to Day of the role:

  • Oversee the data infrastructure, ensuring it aligns with industry best practices and meets the organisation's strategic objectives.
  • Collaborate with global admin teams to define and implement data management practices and policies.
  • Act as a product owner, managing the lifecycle of data products and services.
  • Lead pilot groups to test and refine new data initiatives.
  • Work closely with data architects to design and optimise data solutions.
  • Drive the adoption of data platforms like Dataverse and Databricks across the organisation.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Strong understanding of data management principles and global administrative practices.
  • Experience in product ownership and management within a data-focused environment.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft data management tools, including Dataverse and Databricks.
  • Ability to lead pilot projects and drive innovation within the data space.
  • Knowledge of data architecture and the ability to work with technical teams to implement strategic data solutions.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to articulate data policies and practices across the organisation.
