Our client an Electrical Wholesaler are looking for an experienced inventory/stock controller to join their busy branch in Park Royal.
Daily duties are varied and demanding.
You will need to be a team player and be prepared to assist in all areas of the branch.
Reporting to the Branch Manager duties include
- Running stock checks, checking variances and adjusting the stocks.
- Organising return goods to suppliers, and sort out problems with deliveries.
- taking control of all "goods in" activities
- Ordering replenishment stock - checking for discrepancies
- Obtain quotes for bespoke customer requirements and work to get all goods supplied within shortest lead time.
- monitoring, expediting and chasing deliveries with suppliers, processing quotation requests.
- Arranging returns
- Completing regular daily/weekly stock checks.
- Investigating over deliveries and missing stock and performing stock reconciliations.
Hours 7.30 - 5.30pm
Basic salary £27-£28,000
