Job Title: Home Care Manager (Domiciliary Care)

Location: Braintree, Essex

Salary: £35,000 - £45,000

Our client has an exciting opportunity for a dynamic and experienced individual to join their growing organization as Operations Manager of a Domiciliary Care Agency.

In this role, you will oversee the operations of two branches based in Barking and Braintree, contributing to the growth and success of their services. The role will be positioned at Braintree. The ideal candidate will have experience in managing short calls in domiciliary care settings and a hands-on approach to managing the service.

Key Responsibilities:

Business Development: Drive the growth of the branches through effective business development strategies, identifying new opportunities and partnerships.

Contract Management: Ensure compliance with contractual obligations, liaising with stakeholders to maintain strong relationships.

Workforce Development: Lead the development of a skilled and motivated workforce, focusing on recruitment, training, and performance management.

Training Delivery: Coordinate and deliver training programs to enhance the skills and capabilities of the team.

Service Management: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the branches, ensuring high-quality service delivery in line with regulatory requirements.

Budget Management: Responsible for financial management, budget planning, and monitoring to achieve cost-effectiveness.

Bid Writing: Provide support in the development and submission of bids, contributing to the growth of the business.

Full Driving Licence: Essential requirement, as travel between branches and external meetings will be required.

On-Call Team: Actively participate in the on-call team, demonstrating a commitment to the smooth running of services.

Service Compliance: Ensure the business is CQC ready and compliant in all areas of the service delivery.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Proven experience in a managerial role within the social care or healthcare sector.
  • Relevant qualification in social care, management, or a related field.
  • Strong business acumen and understanding of CQC regulatory frameworks.
  • Full driving licence
  • Domiciliary care / short call experience
