Salary: £32,000 - £35,000 (depending on relevant experience)

Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm

Match Recruitment are recruiting on behalf of their client based in Northampton. Based from their Head Office in Northampton, they've been servicing the UK for over 30 years. This is a stand alone Marketing role, working alongside their Customer Support team.

Due to the requirements of this role, our client is looking for somebody who has been in a marketing role with recent and relevant demonstrable experience. It's essential the successful person already has the relevant skillset and knowledge to enable them to work self-sufficiently.

Role purpose:

In this role you will be expected to be contributing to achieve marketing objectives. You will perform a range of design and content marketing work for use in traditional and digital marketing channels as well as perform a variety of administrative tasks. You should have a great eye for detail in written and design work, be creative and have an eagerness to achieve. In this role your responsibilities include managing a majority of our design work for catalogues, promotional items, company branding, and other areas where design work may be required. You will also be responsible for social & email marketing management.

Summary of what your day to day will look like:

  • All marketing activities required by the Department Manager
  • Creating Catalogues/brochures production
  • Production and posting of social & email marketing content
  • Design of promotional branded gifts and materials
  • Produce/edit imagery for website
  • Produce graphics for basic digital marketing communications
  • Design and produce marketing materials required for one-off events and promotional events
  • Adhere to brand guidelines and ensure all material conforms

What you'll need to be successful in the role:

  • Previous and recent marketing experience is essential
  • Understand & adhere to company values.

  • Initiative and Enthusiasm
  • Accuracy and excellent attention to details
  • Be Creative with the ability to produce visually stimulating material
  • A good capacity to create engaging written content, in line with our client's company voice style
  • Ability to proofread/spell check documents
  • The ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines
  • Strong planning, organisation and communication skills
  • Self-reliant with the ability to work on their own initiative and within a team environment
  • Enjoy work as part of a team but also able to work independently
