Electrical Engineering Manager
Our prestigious, unique market leading client based close to Norwich are currently seeking an Electrical Engineering Manager to join their ever-expanding team.
- Are you able to plan and draw up a production schedule?
- Do you have an excellent understanding of electrical and electronic circuits?
If so, this could be the role for you!
This is a brand-new permanent position working Monday - Friday. The successful candidate will need to support and develop the production function in line with business objectives and be responsible for all areas of production. As a member of the senior leadership team, this role also provides input into site-based decision making and strategic initiatives.
The successful candidate will be self-motivated, structured, and adaptable in their approach as priorities can alter quickly. They will be an organised person with a commercial mindset and confident in managing production driven projects as a direct result of business growth.
Duties include:
- Decide on and order the resources/materials that are required and ensure stock levels remain adequate
- Verify suitability and selectivity of parts and components
- Set the quality standards
- Suitability and selectivity of parts and components/ quality control verify
- Monitor the production processes and adjust schedules as needed
- Monitor productivity rates and product standards and implement quality control programs
- Organise the repair of any damaged equipment
- Liaise with different departments, teams and companies, e.g. suppliers, managers, clients
- Review of mechanical drawings for upcoming projects
- Verification of electrical schematics for upcoming projects
- Ensure that health and safety guidelines are followed at all times
- Ensure customer orders are completed on time
- Work with managers to implement the company's policies and goals
- Supervise and motivate a team of workers
- Review worker performance and identify training needs
- Ensure all site health and safety requirements are adhered to
