Position: SEN Teaching Assistant
Location: Berkhamsted
Area: Special Educational Needs
Salary: £85 - £95 per day depending on experience
Start Date: September 2024
Key Responsibilities as a SEN Teaching Assistant:
- Provide one-on-one and small group support to students with a range of additional needs.
- Assist the class teacher in delivering lessons and activities.
- Support students with their emotional and social development, helping them to build confidence and resilience within a mainstream school.
- Collaborate with the SENCO (Special Educational Needs Coordinator) and other professionals to implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and behaviour management strategies.
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment where every child feels valued and supported.
- Commute to Berkhamsted.
