School IT Technician
Start: Flexible start: June or September
Rate of pay: £13 - £16 per hour depending onexperience

I am working with acentral Bristol school is recruiting an IT Technician to work as part of asmall IT team within the school. This would be an ideal role for anyone lookingto build a career in the IT computer industry.
The school are open tohearing from candidates who are experienced, as well as new to this career:
- Experienced candidates will be 1st line support, responding to issues and managing tasks.
- Candidates new to this kind of role but with plenty proven IT experience, will be the 2nd line of IT support assisting the team.
Essential Experience:
All candidates willneed at least 3 years IT experienceeither in education or a similar role, including installation, configurationand deployment of software and computers.
You will beresponsible for installing, supporting, and maintaining Microsoft Windows 10systems, school devices and printers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Installation, configuration and maintenance of all hardware and software throughout the company at different locations.
- Troubleshoot, fix, and repair tablet, desktop, laptop, and server issues.
- Implement new technologies and provide resources to complete IT projects as needed.
- Provide a reliable and effective support service to our internal/external customers.
- Assist with the prompt resolution of support service tickets
- Identifying and resolving software and hardware issues as required.
- Creating and maintaining user accounts in Microsoft 365/Active Directory
- Identify computer or network equipment shortages and place orders
