IT Field Technician – Manchester, Liverpool, North West
Location: Covering Manchester, Liverpool, Leeds, Bradford
Salary: £26-31k
Requirement: Full UK driving licence and access to own vehicle
We are seeking an experienced and motivated
IT Field Technician
to join this growing IT Services team, delivering responsive on-site support across multiple Education Trusts / academies in the North of England.
Key Responsibilities for this Field Engineer role:
- Provide on-site IT support, including hardware troubleshooting, device imaging, and software triage
- Resolve network and connectivity issues, and support classroom technology
- Manage and update the IT asset register across multiple locations
- Assist with device refresh projects and software installations
- Maintain accurate documentation and uphold service standards
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to support IT operations and improvement initiatives
Core experience for this IT Field Engineer role
- Proven experience in IT support, including Windows 10/11 and Microsoft 365
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to manage workload across multiple sites
- Full driving licence and access to a vehicle
Desirable Qualifications:
ITIL 4 Foundation, CompTIA A+, CompTIA Network+, Microsoft 365 Fundamentals
