Joining a growing company undertaking all aspects of Accounting and some general operations administration. Our client is passionate about their work, looking for someone with a strong knowledge of accounting on Xero, but who is happy to get involved in the administration of other aspects of the business. Duties will include:
- Reporting directly to the Managing Director
- Accounts payable
- Accounts receivable
- Bank / credit card reconciliations
- Monthly management accounts
- VAT returns
- Assisting with preparation of year end to send to external Accountants
- Getting involved in general business operations, learning how the business runs
- Offering improvements in accounts procedures to ensure the function is streamlined
- Liaising with suppliers, clients and other members of staff and providing support
Previous experience in a sole responsibility accounts role would be highly beneficial, as would experience using Xero.
