The team offer free training programs to individuals and provide accredited courses to businesses and schools. The revenue generated from our accredited and corporate training directly funds free community programs. With over 10,000 individuals trained to save lives, we are on a mission to expand our impact across the UK.

Role Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Marketing and Communications Specialist to join the growing team. This role is crucial in transforming the business into a nationally recognized brand and a trusted provider of first aid training. If you have a broad understanding of marketing, communications, and social media management, and you're passionate about making a difference, we want to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Planning: Collaborate with the CEO to design and implement a comprehensive marketing and communications strategy aimed at enhancing the visibility and impact of the brand.
  • Brand Development: Lead initiatives to develop and maintain a positive brand image and continuously seek opportunities to improve our communication and marketing efforts to maximize reach and engagement.
  • Content Creation and Management: Develop and execute compelling digital and print marketing materials, including promotional assets, leaflets, posters, press releases, blogs, news content, photography, and video content. Ensure all content aligns with our brand guidelines and supports organizational objectives.
  • Digital Marketing and Social Media: Create engaging digital content and manage social media engagement across various platforms. Plan, schedule, and execute content that raises awareness of our mission and drives participation in our courses.
  • Growth and Engagement: Achieve targeted growth in social media engagement and course participation through strategic digital marketing efforts. Effectively promote our services and expand our reach within key demographics.
  • Stakeholder and Partnership Management: Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders and partners to support impactful marketing campaigns. Identify new opportunities for partnerships and collaborative initiatives to enhance brand awareness.
  • Community Engagement: Attend networking events and partner meetings to promote and support shared digital campaigns, and enhance community engagement.
  • User Experience and Feedback: Work closely with the operations and training teams to ensure a seamless user experience. Monitor and respond to feedback from social media and digital platforms to continuously refine our offerings.
  • Performance Monitoring: Compile and share monthly performance data within your areas of responsibility to inform strategy adjustments and report on key metrics.
  • Impact Reporting: Contribute to the annual impact report and assist in creating compelling content for funding and commissioning bids.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in marketing, communications, and social media management, preferably within the non-profit sector.
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing strategies and tools, including content creation, social media management, and SEO.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a creative flair for engaging content.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Experience in building and maintaining partnerships with external stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with performance measurement and impact reporting.
  • Passion for community engagement and making a positive impact through your work.
