  • Salary: £12.30 per hour
  • To start asap for approx. the next 6 months

Join our Medical Division as a Service Administrator, where you will use your administrative skills to ensure that our customer service team's expectations are met efficiently and accurately. This role is crucial in coordinating service work, managing non-technical queries, and maintaining service records to support the smooth operation of the service department.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Allocate service work and call-out requests to appropriate engineers, recording details accurately on relevant systems.
  • Handle queries regarding engineers' visits and all non-technical matters relating to the general running of the service department.
  • Work closely with our third-party Service Provider to ensure seamless service operations.
  • Maintain accurate service records and prepare reports as requested by internal sources and corporate account holders.
  • Liaise with the loan/demo coordinator to ensure loan/demo stock is available to customers where possible.
  • Collaborate with the sales force to ensure that priorities relating to customers' orders, installations, and product configurations are agreed upon.
  • Manage customer service invoice enquiries via email and telephone, maintaining accurate service contract records.
  • Provide administrative support to the UK Service Manager as needed.
  • Produce reports and spreadsheets for various service providers using Excel.
  • Comply with all relevant health and safety legislation.
  • Maintain good working relationships with other departments.
  • Work within the procedures defined by the Company's Q.A. systems.
  • Attend internal and external training courses as required and assist with the training of new staff.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in an administrative role, preferably within a service or medical division.
  • Strong organisational and record-keeping skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Proficient in using office software and communication tools, especially Excel.
  • Experience in handling customer enquiries and resolving issues efficiently.
  • Commitment to professional development and continuous learning.
