- Salary up to £36,000 + Benefits
- Full time - Permanent - 37 hours per week - 8:00AM - 4:00PM - Early Finish Friday
About the client:
Our client are looking to appoint a 3rd Line IT Support Engineer to assist with technical troubleshooting for their educational client base. This is an office-based role, involving some infrequent travel to client site within 30 minutes of the head office.

The 3rd Line IT Support Engineer Role:
- Ensure the smooth and secure operation of existing IT systems.
- Oversee the network and its virtual and physical security components, including servers, switches, firewalls, routers, web filtering, phone systems, CCTV, antivirus/antimalware, and wireless access equipment.
- Support the development and implementation of future technologies and system enhancements.
- Infrequent visit to client site to tend to IT Issues.
3rd Line IT Support Engineer - Essential Skills:
- Demonstrate strong teamwork skills, high motivation, and clear communication abilities.
- Possess a genuine passion for IT and customer service.
- Have a minimum of five years of proven experience in a high-pressure IT environment, including hands-on experience in server maintenance, repair, and recovery.
- Be experienced with and have an in-depth understanding of Windows (client and server), Apple, and Chromebook MDM.
- Have expert knowledge of IT hardware and software, with a solid grasp of technical standards, applications, and principles necessary to support, maintain, and develop all systems.
