Payrate: £11.44phr - £15phr experience dependant
Are you an experienced TIG Welder with expertise in working with stainless steel and aluminium? Look no further! A leading manufacturing company in Tamworth, is seeking a skilled and dedicated TIG Welder to join their team.
Responsibilities:
- Perform TIG welding operations on stainless steel and aluminium components, ensuring high-quality welds and meeting precise specifications.
- Interpret and understand engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications to determine welding requirements.
- Set up welding equipment and select appropriate welding techniques based on the materials being welded.
- Inspect and ensure the quality of welded components, identifying and rectifying any defects or imperfections.
- Collaborate with other team members and departments to complete projects efficiently and within deadlines.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety guidelines and practices.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a TIG Welder, with a strong focus on precision and quality in working with stainless steel and aluminium.
- Proficient in TIG welding techniques specifically for stainless steel and aluminium materials.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
- Knowledge of welding equipment, tools, and safety procedures.
- Attention to detail and ability to meet production targets while maintaining high standards of workmanship.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Relevant certifications or qualifications in welding would be advantageous.
