Main Duties:
As a Assistant Accountant your main duties include:
- Support the production of management accounting
- Supporting in the delivery of business information for key customers and stakeholders to support decision making.
- Maintaining accurate and complete financial records
- Ensuring regulatory and statutory requirements are met.
- Supporting the development and maintenance of effective relationships with stakeholders
- Ensuring issues and shortfalls are addressed and remedied in order to ensure the delivery of high standards of customer care.
- Contributing, as appropriate, to special programmes and projects in support of the Group's values and objectives.
Location / Office / Culture
The role is hybrid with 3 days in the office based in Worcester. The company operate from a modern office consisting of a strong team of 20+. The business is very flexible in its working patterns and offer great chances for progression.
What We Are Looking For
The ideal candidate will have:
- Good communication skills
- Intermediate knowledge of spreadsheets
- Working knowledge of financial regulations
- The ability to analyse data
- Currently studying AAT/ACCA/CIMA
- Six months or more experience in management accounts is ideal
