HR Business Partner

We are looking for an experienced HR professional for a 12 month maternity cover starting in October 2024.

Paying up to £50k, offering hybrid working for a technical business who have a great culture, based in north Cambridgeshire.

You will have worked in a stand-alone HR role previously and feel comfortable operating autonomously.

Reporting to the CFO whilst managing a HR Assistant, this role requires someone who can deliver the day-to-day operational HR duties whilst be a HR partner to the business and the champion of their culture.

Duties include –

  • Managing recruitment and on-boarding
  • Developing policies in line with legislative change
  • Managing employee relations cases as they arise
  • Leading on well-being initiatives
  • Leading on L&D initiatives supporting managers to develop their teams
  • People planning for the future
  • Providing advice and guidance to managers on employee issues

About you?

  • Experience of using an ATS / HRIS
  • Excellent IT skills
  • A collaborator in your approach and style
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Supportive team player
  • Excellent employment law knowledge
