Operating in the sustainable energy storage space, this company released their technology earlier this year and are now moving to adventures on the pilot line. This is where you come in....
The Role:
- Lead projects focused on developing the mechanical aspects of cells
- Lead validation of new technology, scale-up and implementation into new prototypes
- Identify development opportunities and find creative solutions to improve a prototype's KPIs
- Generate new prototype concepts and lead experimental activity
- Assist in driving the interface between both Research and Prototype Development teams
- Look at long term manufacturing strategies for potential future commercial applications and products
About You:
- Suitably degree qualified with 5-7 years mechanical engineering experience, including leading a team
- Experience with the mechanical design of energy storage and conversion technologies
- Hands-on engineering skillset with a solid understanding of chemical systems and processes
- NPI knowledge and experience
- Experience of process development and optimisation, with a focus on pilot line manufacturing
- Experience in scaling up technology and increasing TRL
- Project management experience
